I have to get straight to the point today and testify from The Skin-Recovery Pulpit, ok? When it comes down to it, the difference between a good, clear complexion and a broken-out, uneven one is about 90% based on your sugar intake. Quite frankly, you can come back pretty quickly from eating an occasional double bacon cheeseburger with fries. But it's going to be a struggle to return from eating that AND the huge bowl of ice cream that comes with all those sugary toppings. Speaking from recent experience, folks. Everyone needs a little indulgence from time to time, so I ordered some fast food with that exact dessert and I thought I was good. Yeah, no. My skin looked something like a minefield two days later. I've had much worse breakouts but it was still a bummer to lose ground on the progress I've been working so very hard on. That was three weeks ago and I'm coming back from it, thankfully. Fruit is good, oatmeal and other complex carbs are good. But please (and speaking to myself most of all here) watch your intake of simple sugars. Be wise with every meal choice, the condition of your skin depends on it.
Until Next Time,
