Hello, dear readers!
Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Simone, a research and development chemist at Equibal Labs in New York State. At Equibal Labs, we pride ourselves on being a cGMP and FDA certified facility, dedicated to the highest standards of safety, efficacy, quality, and purity. We're also proud to be a certified WBENC (women-owned) company. Equibal Labs is the creator and manufacturer of renowned products like the patented and FDA-Registered finipil® antiseptic cream, Nufree® Nudesse® non-wax hair remover, and a range of exceptional skincare lines such as Made for Men®, Blemfree™, and Quickmend™ cold sore treatment. What sets us apart is that we oversee the entire manufacturing process, from hand-packaging to shipping, right here in upstate New York, ensuring unwavering dedication to delivering top-notch cosmetics to our valued customers.
What I find most exhilarating about my role at Equibal Labs is the simplicity and effectiveness of our products. Each formulation is meticulously crafted, featuring a minimalistic blend of carefully chosen raw materials that synergize to create exceptional, high-performing products. I speak from firsthand experience when I say that all the functional and active ingredients we use have a proven track record of promoting healthy, radiant skin.
As someone deeply passionate about both science and skincare, I am overjoyed to be part of an industry that marries my love for chemistry with the art of crafting innovative cosmetic solutions. My aspiration is to empower consumers through weekly blog posts covering a wide array of skincare topics, accessible via the "Beauty, Brain & Skincare" section on Equibal.com.
Before embarking on my journey in the cosmetics industry, I, too, was once an uninformed consumer who sought "natural" or "clean" products, believing that lengthy chemical names were detrimental to my skin and hair. I was drawn to flashy, beautifully packaged, and often pricey brands, investing in numerous creams, serums, and acne treatments, only to find my skin never truly transforming. It became evident that I, like many others, had been misled by media hype. Now, my mission is to share my knowledge with fellow beauty enthusiasts who may have fallen prey to similar marketing gimmicks. I aim to provide you with insights into current beauty trends, guidance on what to consider when shopping for skincare products, a deeper understanding of the science behind beauty, and, ultimately, help you make well-informed decisions about your skincare routine.
Exciting, isn't it? ;)
Stay tuned for our upcoming blog, where we'll delve into the "Clean Beauty" movement, dissecting its inconsistencies and emphasizing the importance of defining your values when it comes to beauty products.
