Somewhere along the way, we’ve lost our balance.
We’ve been told by celebrities, flashy ads, and global hype machines how to look, how to live, and even how to think. We’ve traded in common sense for quick profits and compassion for clicks. And in the noise, the simple truths — about health, beauty, and life itself — have been drowned out.
The truth is, nature has always been the best chemist. Sunshine, fresh air, clean water, whole food, and simple care for our skin and bodies do more for us than any fad or celebrity trend ever will. But instead, we’ve let media tell us we can’t cook an egg, grow a tomato, or leave the house without following the latest “must-have” craze.
At Equibal Labs, my mission for more than four decades has been to bring skincare back to its foundation: safety, honesty, and results. That means formulating products that are clean, nourishing, effective — and made right here in the USA under the highest standards. Our formulas are clinically tested, paraben-free, never tested on animals, and rooted in respect for both science and nature.
But skincare is just one piece of the puzzle. If we want future generations to thrive, we have to cut through the hype in all areas of our lives. We need to go back to the basics:
- Work with your hands. Grow something. Nurture it. Watch it feed you.
- Connect with people. Kiss your kids. Shake hands with your neighbor. Care for each other instead of comparing ourselves to Hollywood illusions.
- Trust nature. Step outside. See the sun. Breathe fresh air. Your body and mind will thank you.
- Keep it simple. Clean, nourish, protect. That applies to skin, health, and life itself.
I founded Equibal in 1984 because I believed — and still believe — that people deserve skincare they can trust. Not fads, not gimmicks, not the “sexy garbage” of celebrity culture. Just honest products that work, backed by science and compassion.
We don’t need rulers of money or media telling us who we are. We need to reclaim our common sense, take care of our health, and remember that we are only human. And that’s more than enough.
So let’s keep it plain. Keep it clean. Keep it real. That’s how we protect our skin. That’s how we protect our children. That’s how we protect our future.
